Synopsis:
The 57th of 66 serials of the Republic is full of video stock some of the above serials that company "Zorro" primarily "Black Whip Zorro" from 1944, so many of images Ken Curtis is wearing the same costume as Linda Stirling and (especially) his double Nena DeFreest wearing in that series. Disney now owned the rights to the character of Zorro, but Republic was not about to let all that stuff go to waste when all you had to do was create a character named Don Daredevil. Those who express surprise at finding TV "Festus" as the protagonist of a series obviously are looking at the career of Ken Curtis from the rear end and not from the initial appearance of his career. The series has political leader Douglas Stratton found an old Spanish Land Grant made Ricardo Moreno and Patrick Doyle subsequently sold to be a fake, and tries to take advantage by having his men try to stake mining claims in the huts and villages now part of the original grant.
